Had high hopes for this one. Good but nothing memorable. Coffee and barrel that’s about it.

The sweet belies the ABV. Definitely an after dinner sipper.

Sweet creamy coffee. I am not a huge fan of browns in general, but Founders always does them well. Doesn’t hurt that they add so much coffee to them. It’s a great transition to cooler weather beer. If you love coffee and are planning a bonfire, get this.

Its a very intriguing brown. Its not thick but the flavors are concentrated in a way that's both satisfying and unique.

Interesting beer...barrel aged brown ale with coffee and vanilla flavors...it's not as good as Doom IMO but tasty nonetheless

Just found this - very good, a little more coffee than I like but the other flavors layer very nicely.

Solid. Smooth. Roasty. Good coca vanilla cinamin. Creamy

I wanted more. The booze overpowers the coffee and vanilla. I get the chocolate, but not much else. Don’t get me wrong it’s good, but it should have been better.

I still prefer the Mountain Brown series from Founders, but this is really good. Interesting blend of flavors

Finally got my hands on a four pack. Pours a darkish brown with aromas of coffee and bourbon. The mouthfeel is is on the thinner side with a strong coffee flavor up front and bourbon on the backend. Not tons of flavor and lacking on chocolate and vanilla.

Super smooth 11% creamy with chocolate, vanilla and coffee ☕! Nice oaky barrel finish.

Not as flavorful as the nose would present. It does fit the genre or style of a brown ale, but the palate is a little underwhelming. Strong coffee upon smelling. That's the best part. Not my favorite by any means, but I'm sure it will age well.

Founders rarely disappoints with their barrel aged stuff, really damn good

Bourbon laced, silky, thin brown ale. More coffee bean smell than taste, but it’s there. Not getting the advertised sweetness but there is a chocolate presence. Well done.

It’s the best brown ale I’ve ever had. So much going on and at 11% you wouldn’t know while sipping it.

We're not at a jazz club, but from where I'm sitting, this brew is solid, and yes, more please!

Malty, smooth, full body, vanilla. It doesn't taste like it smells, you might think boozy but it's not.
