Roasted malt aroms. Taste is roasted malt,vanilla, light bourbon flavors. Well blended tastes.

Interesting, I really take in the chocolate tones with a hint of vanilla and coffee. And really notice the aged bourbon barrel. A nice sipper at 11%.

Full bodied chocolate coffee goodness. Vanilla is sneaking through nicely. Did I say I really like stouts??!?

Another delicious barrel aged offering from Founders. Bourbon and chocolate nose with notes of vanilla and coffee on the palate. Beautiful color. Not overpowering.

Good flavor with layers of coffee/chocolate/vanilla. Smooth with a bit of nib and coffee bitters. I like my BBA’s thicker but this is good.

This barrel aged brown ale starts off with a smooth creamy lightly roasted coffee and sweet vanilla bean flavor and gives way to a bitter chocolate oakey barrel finish.

The first few sips, I thought this was too roasty for me. But by sip four, I fell in love. It did become smooth and velvety.

I honestly could not describe it any better than the details from Founders. Really nice and smooth and flavorful. Doesn’t taste like 11%…
