Nose of cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon and chocolate. On the palate a little bit of coffee can be also found. Allthough this time around its thinner and not as good as the original or the expresso KBS, it still is a solid Founders stout and a nice change.

Mmmmm. If there was a weakness it’s the finish but that’s just compared to the rest of it.

A solid variant of an already stellar stout. Cinnamon is subtle, vanilla finishes it off.

Honestly, there’s just way too much cinnamon going on here. It significantly overwhelms the other flavors.

Last time I had one of these it was overkill on sweetness. This one is hints of sweetness upfront with much more coffee and dark cocoa bitterness going down. Appears to be different batches. Still a very good beer! Hardly any hints of the barrel.
