Hazelnut mellows the roasted bitterness a bit with its sweetness and leads to a more well rounded and softer beer. Alcohol is nowhere to be found. Dangerously smooth.

Another awesome variant. I will drink all the KBS as allowed.

Gotta give a big thanks to my boy Davey for bringing this back for me, and gotta think that my boy John H. had something to do with it. One of my all time faves, with a well-measured dose of my favourite nut - Hazel. 🍺🥰

Saved it for the 900th milestone. KBS does it again. Maybe I'm a fanboy, but I love KBS

A little sweet side by side with regular kbs but great brew. Gotta like hazelnut for this one!

Pretty disappointed. Objectively good I guess, just way too bitter and smell doesn't match the taste at all.

Lots of hazelnut in the smell and taste. Second favorite of the KBS variants I've tried.

This beer is chocolatey, roasty, with some coffee and aingering hazelnut note. Not super deep or thick but they blend pretty well. Boozy undertones.

KBS is always great. Tons of hazelnut in the aroma, carries a bitterness through the flavor as well. As it warms it balances out. Good stuff!

Chocolate, coffee, fudge, and hazelnut. Tastes like an Italian dessert. Not sure why I only gave this a 4 last time.... I also think it's one of the few stouts that's better cold. It starts to lose some of its fudginess when it warms.
