Meh. Not a huge fan of this. Astringent and bitter. Probably my least favorite KBS ever.

Great flavors, balanced and smooth, almost a little creamy with the hazelnut.

Yep, a 5. I'm biased when it comes to imperial stouts, most enjoyable. With that said, this one still stands above the rest.

Not quite as sweet as I think we all expected. Typically I age all iterations of KBS but had to open this relatively fresh one because of my love of hazelnut. Almost want to give the edge to the maple Mackinac but this is very good.

Bright hazelnut with dark chocolate. You would never know this is 12%

Definitely a rich chocolate flavor with a roasty hazelnut note on the finish. I like regular better.

A good old brew with some new things added. The old, hard to get and unflavored KBS was great. This is ok

Very much like syrup! Rare to have a beer have the thickness and consistency of molasses. This is a slow sipper that you only do one of at a time, but string and tasty the entire way down.

Best beer of the evening: bright, coffee, roasted malts, soft hazelnut defected as an earthy marzipan, strong alcohol, chocolate. A fun sipper

Really dig it! Hazelnut and coffee do wonders together.

Interesting taste. Can't tell if I'm having a stout or having coffee. Sweet, with very strong hazelnut, and maybe a touch of chocolate.
