Don't let the Lite coaster fool you... This KBS is a GOOD beer.

Hazelnut coffee…yum. Rich and roasty, little boozy, smooth. BOD 1/26/22

Back in the day I traded for KBS as a rare milestone rating. So weird to see it and all the variants everywhere these days, but still tasty!

Love Frangelic, which this reminds me of. More barrel flavor, richer and less sweet. Always drawn to hazelnut coffee and this doesn't disappoint

Big dark strong boozy imperial stout with coffee hazelnut and caocao taste and aroma. Solid smooth easy sipping brew with nice bourbon finish

Quite a bit of booziness, even after it warms up. Nice hazelnut flavor, but the flavor isnt pronounced enough. A bit of coffee on the finish.

Decent. Good hazelnut flavor. Like the regular KBS better.

Nutty and coffee on the nose, and the taste of chocolate round this out with a warming bourbon finish. Closer to a 4.10. Well done. Thanks Mike R 🙏

Oh am I digging this. I wasn’t sure about the hazelnut at first but man was that a good idea! It’s got the KBS profile that I like with the hazelnut flavor. Very well done.

Medium, creamy, beige head and a dark-brown appearance, with low-level lacing. Aroma- hazelnut and dark bread crust, w/possible cocoa. Taste- similar, with sugar & moderate bitterness. Some whiskey barrel is detected. High-medium body. Mostly-dry finish.

I love all of founders beers. Not my favorite stout of there’s but still good.

Reminds me a lot of frangelic mountain, this has a more robust roasted Hazelnut character to it, less sweetness and a bit longer finish.

Nutty and semisweet... Just wish it was more viscous at this ABV. Delicious but thin af...
