A Founders Advent calendar exclusive. Unique, & very good. The only thing holding back my rating is the conflict between the tart raspberries & the sweet brandy barrel aging.

Sweet nose. Rich, roasted malt. Medium to full body. Chocolate, berry flavors. Sweet, brandy flavors. Good BA stout

Not much barrel aged coming through but does mellow it out.

Really well done. Love that the coloring was black with a red tint. Sweet but expected. Really enjoyed this one.

This is a phenomenal beer. The flavors are all clear and in balance, right down to the elongated barrel finish. If I was digging, maybe that finish could be a little less bitter. But, I’m not gonna dig. I’m just gonna enjoy it.

I did not think I was going to like this but really was very good. I think the brandy barrels did a great job mellowing out that raspberry punch!
