A barleywine on the more bitter side along the lines of Bigfoot. Barrel works well with this but isn’t overly boozy. This is a nice sipper that is a meal in a glass. Another fine beer in my hands thanks to Zach the Kitten

Went 50/50% with mom to try it. It's too hot for something this rich tonight. Although it was a lovely drink.

This beer marks the end of an era. Just left an employer that I was with for almost 14 years. New gig starts Monday. Here’s to new beginnings. 🍻

Very good of its own merit but I wonder if the original is a better due to the boozy overpowering the sweetness.

Strong toffee/caramel up front, boozy finish. Final sips circle back 'round to the caramel. Would love to try this bad boy after a couple years.

My daily ration of barleywine! This is actually super smooth for the ABV. Quite chocalatey and toasty, a dark BW. I maybe felt the body should have been a bit more thicc for the booze. Delicious though 😋 nap time on the bus down to Kalamazoo.
