Hazelnut is there of course but it goes into a chalky, wooden territory as well. The flavors hide a bit of the booze but it could use some sweetness.

Not a huge nose, just a hint of hazelnut. But the taste... like a sweet hazelnut coffee with chocolate notes. Not an aggressive bourbon taste, but it is there in the background. Excellent.

Smells like boozy hazelnut coffee. I lose the bozziness in the initial taste, just hazelnut coffee to my taste, finishing with chocolate notes and roastiness.

KBS must have been bought out by Big Hazelnut and were forced to put in 5x what the recipe calls for. Tasty, but the unmistakable aroma and flavor of Hazelnut is affecting my neighbors beer across the street.

Too much fake hazelnut flavor- the experience was like an ok stout force-fed with Coffeemate Dairy Free Hazelnut Flavor. An ok beer wrecked by the forced flavoring.

The aroma is reminiscent of sticking your face inside a box of ‘nilla wafers backed with cocoa and coffee. Founders remains the king of year-round available barrel aged stouts with this one. Good bitterness to boot.

LCI- well I guess I’m going to be different on this one. Nothing stands out, rosstiness and some hazelnut. Very minimal coffee and cocoa. No barrel flavor at all. Taste is muted
