Full bodied compared to other varieties it seems. Soft chocolatey goodness. Cherry syrup sweetness. Nice coffee roastiness. Small fennel/woody presence. Still needs to warm up. Wow.

This is Cherry country! Lovely cherry character on top of a classic KBS. And to think the bartender tried to talk me out of it. Just describe the beer, not how much you like it.

Liquid darkness with tan-white lacing, and a big chocolate nose. You already know with KBS you’re getting a solid stout, but now we’re in uncharted cherry territory. A slight fruity sweetness that offsets the darkness, tart. A refreshing spin on a legend.
