Belgian Twist

Belgian Tripel

A Belgian Tripel…with a twist: this beautiful beverage is brewed with a substantial amount of Blue Agave nectar; heightening and highlighting the existing fruity notes and rounding out the sweet body of this golden straw-colored Tripel.

Solid tripel. The agave definitely adds more sweetness.

After not having a trippel in quite a while, this reminded me why I like them so much. Easily identifiable in style, and rich in flavor.

This is pretty remarkable but then considering who made this, maybe not. An odd coupling that works well. 10%

Slight sweetness in aroma. Belgian yeast noticeable. Lasting flavor.

Pretty sure it’s delicious, but I hate it because half of it frizzed over into my still open silverware drawer. Cleaning that is going to be fun. The half a beer that was left in the bottle was sweet and lovely. I guess I’ll have to get another one…

Just what you'd expect from a strong Belgian. Malty...banana bread, with a mild sweetness. Not nearly as sweet as the ABV would foretell. Not sure I get the Agave nectar....

I gotta say, they made this one in the kind of wheaty style I normally don’t like as much as the boozy malty ones but dang, the blue agave nectar rounded it out and made this smooth, slightly sweet and enjoyable.

Wow I am so glad I picked this up. Wish I had grabbed a second pack. Only have one bottle left. Think I might make a cocktail with that one and add some tequila just to see. Really enjoyed the last “bottle shop” release and this one rocks. Cheers y’all.

I’m pretty sure this is my first Belgian style triple from founders but it is a homerun for me. Nice balance of multi and Estie feel with just the right amount of fruit. It is delicious.

What a fine Belgium 🇧🇪 Well balanced banana/clove with smooth fruity flavors. Undetectable agave blended sweetness, rounds out this triple. It advertises to drink fresh. I think it’s a Belgian triple and it could spend a year in the cellar. We’ll see.

A fruity and complex trip. Rich straw front breaks into a strait and sturdy tequila kissed back. Raanan very high as I dislike the category. Awesome drinkable bitter tripel

The agave really amplifies the fruitiness. Especially the banana and pear. There’s also some pepper and clove notes on top of pound cake, honey or more accurately agave and bread. It’s definitely a a slight twist on a classic tripel.
