This mostly works but is a bit off with all of the agave sweetness. It kind of hides the fruity, spicy notes that are what I love about tripels. Good effort though

Good high octane Belgian triple not crazy about the agave but ok

A pretty standard Belgian with a bit extra punch to reflect the ABV

First course: A twisty tripel. Less malty than…malty, with a tiny hint of sweetness. 2 for 2 with the 10%! Hoping we lighten up as the evening progresses.

Big and beautiful…and exceptionally funky with the agave. Drinks smaller than it is in typical Founders fashion.

Pretty good. The sweetness level is higher than in most and it needs a little more carb, but all of the flavors are there.

A little too aged, but it grew on me and was satisfying. Always enjoy a good trippel.

Yeasty, strong and smooth. Yummy beer from beer caddy / bonus caddy at draft 13 at Shawns. Not quite 4s territory- missing a little something. But a good beer.

Huge amount of banana, but not clove and yeast. More refreshing than other tripels. Blackout fuel.

It's malty, belgiany, wee bit of banana, but the agave mutes & dominates those flavors; no surprise there! This is #5000 on Untappd, so I opted for a bottle from a good friend of mine, found in a box from his last trip to FL. Thanks for the share, Bill!

Smooth and round, light carbonation, sweet agave just short of cloying all the way thru.

Putting a Belgian Twist on the new deck. This is just as advertised, a sweeter Tripel. Maybe I’m drinking Founder’s Kool-Aid, but the agave does seem to bring out the fruit flavors. I’m enjoying this one and glad I only bought one.
