Reminds me of a barleywine…. A bit thin but pleasant sipping. The abv is quite warming

This is one of the beers that got me into craft beer. Haven’t had one in over a year, and while it’s not hitting me like it used to, this is still a solid brew.

Inte vad den var. Eller så minns jag fel. Mindre sötma, fat och smörkola. Lite mer rostat. Riktigt stabil ändå dock.

I remember not too long ago having to find this in Williamsburg and it being a 1 bottle limit. Now it is just sitting on the shelves in Lynchburg. Been too long since enjoying one.

Djupa smaker, fina toner av fatlagring. Eftersmak som påminner om knäck/karamell. Styrkan känns inte alls här. En del torkad frukt finns i smaken.

Malty with big bourbon barrel notes, but still not as much as I remember. Memories say it was even more unbalanced before 😆 Toasted oak notes are huge, with vanilla and bourbon. Smooth maltiness with toffee, dried fruits, chocolate and syrup. Warming

Mörkt, mörkt röd(svart). Fint, tätt, ljusbeige skumkrona. Vinös doft av choklad. Smak av choklad och whisky. Bra kolsyra. Bra beska. Magiskt gott.

Gott, men inte som som de tidiga årgångarna. Hittar inte samma djup i smakerna som jag minns.
