I really just taste the bourbon not the Oktoberfest.

A unique twist on an October fest beer. Soft bourbon nose but full rich bourbon taste followed by malty notes. Thanks Bud

Malty sweet aromas with an autumnal aroma character. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Sweet malty flavors with bourbon and boozy flavor notes. Deep flavors with autumnal flavors with caramel and toffee flavor notes. Lingering boozy and malt flavors.

I like octoberfest beers and barrel aged beers. This combo is pretty tasty.

Generally believe barrel aging is a bit overdone these days, but this one actually worked pretty well.

Bourbon makes every better... this is a great fall combo

Whiskey forward but kind of bitey. Not getting a ton of sweeter caramel or corn notes I might expect from a bourbon specifically, plus the marzen aspects are more or less completely masked by the booze

Boozy AF...pretty raw barrel...reminds me of drinking straight whiskey. Was hoping for more smoothness and malt from the base beer, but it gets lost.

Well… its very boozy, however almost all of the flvors that make a marzen a marzen are overwhelmed by the booziness. i dont really taste the bready/ biscuity flavors that Octoberfests give. i was hoping to give this a higher rating but I can’t.

Light Bourbon blip followed by oak, which then rolls into the toasty marzen.

It's that time of the year when the Octoberfest beers come out. It will be tough to beat this one. Strong sweet malt, a bit of the BB going on. At 10% abv, they would have their hands full if it was served in Munich at the big festival, Thanks Art.

Das is gut. A strong bourbon flavor over the top of one of the best styles of beer. A 10% bba oktoberfest. What’s not to love??
