This is a new style, an Imperial Oktoberfest, bourbon barrel aged. Nice bourbon aroma, and the bourbon comes through in the malty & sweet flavors. 10.0% ABV. Excellent!

Rich, caramel a little bourbon and smooth. It may not be the ultimate that it claims to be it is damn good.

I want to hate this. It tastes like someone poured vanilla vodka in a marzen. But the vanilla taste like cake icing. Anyway, another ridiculous "extreme" beer for no real reason other than they can.

Boozy — interesting variation on an Oktoberfest — it’s not bad but probably not something I’d choose over a traditional Oktoberfest next time

This is excellent. Surprised ratings aren’t higher. Smooth marzen. Slightly sweet cherry and nice bourbon

All bourbon if you are wanting that instead of an Oktoberfest!

Great twist on the style that got me started in craft beer! Love the added oak and bourbon flavors from barrel aging!

Pretty good... but hard to wrap my head around a BBA Oktoberfest beer!

Pretty solid base beer, strong barrel presence. We need more of styles like this in spirit barrels.

If I blind tasted it I would have thought it was a doppelbock. But, I like doppelbock!

Not a bad Marzen. Unfortunately as with anything Founders now almost no barrel

This is a great brew, I love when brewers think outside the box. This takes an Oktoberfest and ages it in bourbon barrels.. Its both crisp and smooth, I'm hoping this will be a hit and be available every autumn.

This reminds me of the grand cru spotted cow version of spotted cow. Oktoberfest with booze. I'm down with this. Might grab more.

Patio Friday at Gary and Patty's. Sweet malty and a smooth bourbon taste through the drink. Tremendous. Lives up to my expectations

Very interesting take on the marzen. The barrel age shows thru easily. Very sweet as most in the style are and it works very well with the the biscuit flavors.
