Bourbon barrel aging makes this unrecognizable as a brown ale. Not that I mind, because it is tasty.

Pretty reminiscent of an old fashioned in beer form. Quite delicious and smoother than the actual cocktail, in my opinion.

Smooth dark caramel and notes of orange and toffee, quite nicely done

Vintage unknown. Big, but mellow, with sufficient, not heavy BBA. Under attenuated, tho still tasty. Cherry & orange are background, tho lingering finish attest to adjuncts. @J-Spitzer. Enjoyable, but nit spectacular.

A beautiful brown ale aged in bourbon barrels and rested on oranges and cherries.

Nace and smooth as it warms. Subtle orange and cherry notes

Very intriguing! Like a barleywine, but I also get the orange peel and cherry, though subtle, and likely wouldn’t have if I didn’t know to look for them. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Goes down deceptively easy!

Een frisse geur van citrus, sinaasappel en op de achtergrond de bourbon. Een zachte en romige smaak van sinaasappel, toffee en bourbon. Ook proef ik iets koffie en noten.
