Deep, deep brown on the pour, beige head. Sweet vanilla upfront, not getting much maple syrup. Whiskey booze hits at the end. Mouthfeel is a touch thinner than a barrel-aged stout, but still rich. A great after dinner sipper. For 9.2%, goes down smooth.

I’m leery of anything with maple syrup, but this is really good. Nicely balanced, great mouthfeel. Well done

This. Way more of THIS please. Nobody appreciates imperial porters more than me. And since I don’t live down the block from Kane, this one will do just fine. And quite a bit more than fine actually.

This is really smooth with bourbon flavor and no bite. So different from their regular porter.

I always thought that it would hard to find a porter better than Founders, but I just did! Oh wait, this is a Founders porter, and its awesome! Cheers!

Barrel and vanilla are strong. Don’t get any maple though. Still pretty solid

Pours black with thin head. Nose with hints of vanilla and maple syrup. Drinks like CBS with maple and vanilla but with the roastiness abs mouthfeel of a porter. Worth a buy and definitely worth drinking again!
