A nice dark beer while watching the darker TWD! Excellent coffee, caramel, vanilla and maple flavors! Just enough sweetness. It's going to be interesting to see how it ages.

Stellar. It's like vanilla KBS. It rocks. Bourbon is slight. Coffee is slight. Mostly vanilla. 4.25

A lot of vanilla that balances out the BA bite. My favorite Founders BA-series I've had since Underground Brown.

Loved this one! The vanilla taste is really prominent, making it different from most bourbon barrel beers I’ve had, but there’s enough maple and bourbon notes here to round out the beer quite nicely.

Pours a dark brown to black with a foamy brown head. Sweet boozy aroma. Rich thick and creamy body. Smooth and well balanced. Not overly sweet nor boozy. Finishes smooth with a lingering vanilla and maple aftertaste. Very enjoyable.

So much better on tap. Hints of vanilla. However on tap version has cinnamon up front.

Like most good porters I drink, I end up wishing it was a stout. Good flavor, but a little thin. But goes down quite easily
