I really want to hate this beer because of the persistent sweetness in the background, but the brewers did such a good job getting vanilla, syrup and bourbon to work.

Founders knows how to make beer! This is delicious, slightly sweet, a very nice porter.

Very vanilla forward, a tad artificial though. Cocoa powder, little maple sweetness. Some roasty character in the finish.

Pours dark as a Panther. With a nice cocoa brown head. Delicious depth of flavors.

Drinks more like a stout than a porter, but I prefer the weight of a stout so I'm happy with it.

Maple and vanilla hit up front with some barrel. Finishes roasty with sturdy bitterness. Lighter body for this type of thing these days, but no worse for it.

Rewatching Black Panther moments. Medium-heavy. Quite sweet with several dark notes. Not a gulper, but not overly powerful. Strong, sweet, slightly syrupy. Not an after-work refresher. Not too bad, but not neccessary to try much of it.

I really taste the vanilla and maple syrup in this one. A very sweet beer. I don't think I could drink 2 in a row but 1 is good.

Absolutely delicious, smooth throughout vanilla and maple both there. Best porter I have ever had!
