Pretty oxidized at this point, although after 7 years… yeah. It’s opening up a little as it warms up, kind of a “See’s candy but I forgot to take it out of the wrapper” vibe. Still enjoyable, but not at its best.

9.30.15 sweet fig caramel nose/mouth. softly murkier 7 years later. need to seek out a fresher 1 soon as the weather is getting there & it’s 1 of my fav styles.

cell temp. 9.30.15 good quick head. musty fig barrel nose. soft & light fig barrel with surprisingly decongest body. one of my favorite beers back in the day. i believe this is the last 1 in cellar. time to run into a 4-pack soonish

Little Oxidized now, but not horrible. Smooth/watery. Not bad for 9 years old!

Scotch has mellowed, giving flavor complexity center stage. Comparing with an aged 2018, it's much smoother with a nice coco-cherry finish.

Very nice brew, bourbon and spices, covers and cinnamon I reckon, but clearly, at 6-7 years has overreached its prime a little bit.

I bit old, but seems to have held up decently compared to other years I’ve had. The bottle is a little dirty from storage… so technically this could be considered an “ol dirty bastard” lol
