Raisin toffee and a high note of oxidisation. Looks like liquid has separated some, darker on bottom than top with some slimy dregs

Additional coronavirus cellar turd bottle. Pretty similar to the last few bottles I had of this vintage. Moderate oxidation trumps all else......lots of floaties in this bastard.

Kind of smelled like diapers but also like wood and bourbon. Weird

2015 Very Bourbon forward aroma, a touch of sherry. Flavor is similar, but any oxidation is welcome complexity. Still has some heat.

Lost some but still better than expected. Looking forward to a vertical tasting soon to really evaluate the aging.

My last bottle. At one time i had a case. This was held in the back of my fridge for 5 years straight. At one time i considered it my favorite beer. My tastes have greatly changed in 5 years, and this beer has too. So long you bastard, its been real 🍻

Boozy and delicious. I wish it hadn't his in the back of the beer fridge. 🍻

I can taste some of the quality shining through but this particular bottle didn’t age well (or maybe the entire year was muted, but that seems doubtful). Too bad. This is generally one of my favorite brews. Assumptions: 4.5. This bottle: 2.5. Split rating

This one fell off a lot compared to the 2016 I had a few months ago. Still some boozy molasses flavor in the finish, but really thinned out. Impressive that it's drinkable after spending almost 7 years in the cellar

This is one of my favorite beers. 7 years is probably a bit too long though. Not bad at all, just a little muted.

9 years. Still pretty tasty but I don’t think I’d hang on to them much longer. I’d give it a 4.15 now
