Final weekend of the Maryland Renaissance Festival, and my 8th and final visit this season, figured a quality pre-fest brew was in order. With heavy milk chocolate and tight barrel notes this fits the bill nicely. Huzzah! Stout Saturday!

This year's version I feel is better than the last. Not as sweet. I miss when your stouts at Founders were thick..like a stout should be.

Delightful dessert. Sweet. Smells like fresh brownies. I want more. This is a favorite. No beer smells better than this. A ghost knocked over my first pour.

Damn tasty! I would love a bit more maple but the fudge is nice and rich and it's not overly sweet. 🍻

Founders did it again this year. Great stout. Just like eating Mackinac fudge, I would imagine. Smells delicious too. Not too sweet.

Very, very nice. Big on fudge, moderate on booziness. I didn’t catch the maple, though. Not overly sweet. Great stout! 4.4
