Opened this one on accident tonight. Was trying to open the 2023 Chocolate cherry. I’d say the fudge comes through like before. Bourbon is hidden but present in a good way. Maple as a aftertaste. Nose is SOOOO good. Like a fudge shop. 4.5 for execution.

Hitting my ‘22 4 pack. I think this variant is their best in the KBS series. Enjoyed ‘20, now ‘22 (missed ‘21 🤔). The fudge, maple & bourbon w/ the original KBS plays so well together IMHO. Cheers to these Founders making it everywhere for us to enjoy!

Just over one year old, mellow and fudge-y… then the barrel aging starts floating around and takes it one step beyond! Absolutely fabulous! Mmmm, mmmm 😋 good 👍

Sweet coffee with a dark roast. Fudgy with hints of maple. Pallet might be slightly wrecked from the 2020 variant so I'm giving bonus points. I like this series alot.

From literally right now. This might be the first time in months that I’ve checked in a beer while actually drinking it. Goddamn this is amazing! That fudge comes through in spades. Bourbon is sweet and pretty much perfect. Chocolate, bourbon, vanilla!

Weirdly astringent. Definitely pick up the fudge, and some burnt coffee - no maple. May have been a bad bottle, but not a huge fan

Not bad for a year old beer… it held up well. Lots of chocolate notes still. The maple isn’t as strong but it’s still smooth.
