Each one I've had from this batch has grown on me more. Still not my favorite barrel aged coffee stout, but pretty tasty with a nice chocolate and maple flavor

Not bad for a year old beer… it held up well. Lots of chocolate notes still. The maple isn’t as strong but it’s still smooth.

Warm and chocolatey with a bit of maple. The finish is why I scored it as I did. It left me wanting.

Nice fudge flavors and bourbon flavors. This is my #2 KBS beer!

This year's batch is just not happening. No maple, bitter coffee, and little to no barrel. Plus this one of a 4pk has no label!🤣

Overwhelmed by notes of coffee that I'm supposed to be duped into thinking is chocolate. After just having CBS, this is somewhat disappointing.

2020 version was a great year for this beer (balanced). 2022 version. Not so great. Not balanced very well. Strong coffee taste and after taste. Drowns out any maple or chocolate tones. Smooth but I find myself sipping it like a coffee. Big miss for me.

Weirdly astringent. Definitely pick up the fudge, and some burnt coffee - no maple. May have been a bad bottle, but not a huge fan

Remember that last bit of bad coffee from yesterday at the crappy workplace you quit in 1992? They kept it for this beer. In the original pot. This is bad. Sadly, the Mackinac Fudge tries valiantly to redeem the situation... too little too late.

Usually I’m not a huge KBS/BA fan, but this was pretty good.
