Very tasty for a 5.8abv beer. Tasty roast, mildly bitter, rye bite. Enjoyable, full flavored, clean. Very good.

Burnt grains and a nice roasty flavor. Tastes a little like pretzels without the salt...or pumpernickel, per the description. Nice flavor.

Strong coffee aroma with dark roasted flavor. Slow to diminish finish. Nice for a brown.

Roasty nose. Slight smoky forward. Roasty, slight smoky malt. Bready, biscuity notes. Slight dry, herbal hop notes. Good brown.
