Love these Bastards, especially with heavy bourbon and french toast. Don’t drink much from founders anymore but these are on point

This is really fantastic…the maple dominates but not overly so. Has a bit of a buttery caramel note that’s quite pleasant. Such a damn shame that Founders allowed their success to goto their heads a few years ago and forever tarnished their reputation.

So glad that these are back. Pours a dark brown color with aromas of maple french toast. The mouthfeel is medium with great flavors of maple, cinnamon, and vanilla throughout with a touch of bourbon on the backend. Taste just like maple french toast!

I love this stuff. Glad they brought it back from a Detroit-mug-club special release to the general public.

When this first appeared, it was a keg only brew. I'm happy to see it in a bottle form. It isn't as heavy as I remember, but the flavor is incredible It has more maple than anything I've ever tasted in a beer, and maple syrup has never been a bad thing.

Really delicious, but so sweet. Exactly as expected. Maple, vanilla, dough, egg, it’s French toast in liquid form.

Andrea latched onto this bad boy. Maple syrup stands out. Best beer of the night.

Awesome mix of flavors, well balanced, the French toast coming through nicely. The very cell that held Frank James brother of Jesse James! At the Jackson County Jail Museum .

A dead ringer for French Toast slathered in maple syrup with a Bourbon chaser.

First hit is of that eggy custard in the middle layer of a chunk of french toast. Cinnamon and vanilla wave hits next, with the maple syrup and boozy barrel at the end. Packs a wallop, a true sipper.
