Scottish Ale

Backwards Bastard gets the full fledged breakfast treatment! Our malty and rich bourbon barrel-aged scotch ale is introduced to the essence of smooth Maple, warm cinnamon, and notes of sweet vanilla for an incredibly decadent brunch inspired sipper. Andrea latched onto this bad boy. Maple syrup stands out. Best beer of the night.

A bit heavy at first taste with the roasty burnt, but that smooths out with some nice maple waffle butter sweetness.

Awesome mix of flavors, well balanced, the French toast coming through nicely. The very cell that held Frank James brother of Jesse James! At the Jackson County Jail Museum .

This year’s version tastes like the KBS base and the Dirty Bastard base with slight bourbon undertones and not slight buttery syrupy French toast. More simply stated, it’s delicious!

Maple and vanilla are really good. Cinnamon is too, but doesn’t mesh as well. This pulls together pretty nicely.

ARE YOU SERIOUS! French Toast beer that tastes exactly like French Toast?! Being a New England native makes me love maple, but goddamn! This is phenomenal. Thank you Ben B. Yeah, I have no self control. Alex C. Check this out. Up your alley.

Maple and cinnamon with not much barrel. Very sweet and hoping it gets better as it warms.
