Last minute decision. Having Teriyaki Bowl with scallops and brown rice. Brown sugar & molasses aroma, semisweet & malty with a crisp mouthfeel and slightly bitter aftertaste.

Beautiful color, and a heavy, malty nose. I do not get any of the peatiness or smokiness mentioned on the label at all, unfortunately, but what IS there is great. Chocolate, bitter orange peel, a little coffee, balanced by a malty sweetness. Good stuff.

Brown malty goodness. This is a strong ale with some killer malt flavor. The mid I start to find the hopsand then the great maltyness is back. I really like this one.

Scotch Ale, sweet stewed plums, roasted peanuts, toasty malt & cocoa/yeast finish. Peat, smoke and caramel linger in the background.

One a day historical check in, drank November 2010. Very enticing nose. Plenty of caramel, raisins and toffee. Has a sweet and fruity feel too. Flavours of toffee, licorice, some coffee, dark fruits and a little sweet spice.Dry, bitter-sweet finish. Nice.

God, kompleks maltsødme, bra fylde, avslutter med et pikant lite bitterbitt.
