Tydlig doft av bourbonfaten mixat med kaffe och lite mörk frukt. Kaffe i smaken med små hintar av mörk choklad och rostad malt. Bourbonfaten dyker upp mot slutet. Torr munkänsla och en helt ok fyllighet.

Inbillar mig att den är aningen mer kaffebetonad än tidigare, men svårt att säga med säkerhet när det går ~ett år mellan varven. Kvalitetsprodukt oavsett.

I like KBS now better than CBS. here the sweet is balanced by the roasts taste

Jag tycker den är bättre än någonsin eller så var jag bara extra sugen på just den här just idag. Hur som helst så slår jag till med ett högre betyg än tidigare år.

A generous offering of a classic brew. Time for the Hawkins gift exchange, white elephant, dirty Santa….or whatever it’s called. I was the only thief.

Excellent. Had this right after the bourbon county stout and would take this one over the BC version. Flavors all across the spectrum of roast, coffee, chocolate, and bourbon.

12% imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolate and then bourbon barrel-aged to perfection. This was a major gateway brew for me, back in 2013. Game-changing. This edition is a bit smokey, with heavy whiskey barrel notes. I dig.
