Not sure what “best by date” is, but this was bottled 08/01/2023 & it’s fantastic! I get the hype from years ago when you couldn’t hardly find this. I’m sure just like different bourbons in different areas this brew changes price. $15/4pk. I’m not upset.

It’s just not the same. Mass production has certainly had an impact. I miss the days of standing in line for kbs and today’s allocated bourbons sitting in cases gathering dust.

It’s not thick and barely and coffee flavor and not much barrel age flavor. Where are the notes of bourbon. All taste is alcohol burn. Kbs has fallen off big time.

Haven't had this beast in quite some time. Unfortunately have taken this for granted. This has been more available then ever at a somewhat decent price. Not the best BA stout but damn is it consistent. Still tastes like I remember 10 years ago. Solid.

Temmelig kraftig i de mørke noter men uden at have de underliggende bløde noter af karamel til at støtte op. Måske fadlagringen er for frisk. Først i eftersmagen kan malten for alvor smages. Noter af chokolade, whisky og kakaonibs.

Ja men der er jo ikke udpræget dårligt Fine aroma med gode ristede noget over i kaffe chokolade som slutte med lidt fad vanilje og tørret frugt Men den virker lidt tynd i kroppen og lidt skarp Men stadig en god øl som kan noget 😊
