I don’t drink many stouts (I like ‘em, but there are other styles I like more), but having heard so much about this one, I went for it. Great nose, head, and color, good mouthfeel (not too heavy or too thick), and great chocolate, coffee, & bourbon notes.

It’s certainly a classic KBS. Once was iconic and heavily sought after is now standard. And yet it’s still very good. Not the rarity class. But spectacular on its form. The recipe stands out really set the bar. Cheers!

Lots of chocolate and roast, and perhaps not as much coffee as I’d like, but the body remains thick and rich, with a long and lingering finish.
