Had it many times-years ago though. Still a solid in their longstanding line up.

A wonderful scotch ale from founders. Rich and malty with a solid smoky flavor. Quick hit of hops in the finish knocks it down a peg. Love to see this as a BBA.

12oz Bottle. Better than I remember the can from 2018. Very malty and smooth. Nice subtle hop flavors. Nice with corned beef hash at the Celtic Festival.

Not bad but still not my style. I'll always try them though.

See previous reviews of various vintages.New generic-kinda label, same ol' Dirty Bastard.Kinda.The '23 version doesn't seem as "scotchy" as past years? C'mon Founders, along w/relabelling/rebranding all your year round brews, ya didn't water 'em down, didja?

Brewed at Avery. Good scotch ale. Smooth until a butter aftertaste

Specifically the one brewed at Avery. Good solid scotch ale. Still too bitter right at the end. The rest of the beer is so smooth, but the aftertaste kicks
