Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

This beer taught us that patience truly is a virtue. KBS is a big imperial stout brewed with a massive amount of coffee and chocolate and then bourbon barrel-aged to perfection. Incredibly silky and full-bodied with notes of vanilla, cocoa, roasted coffee and charred oak.

Finishing off the last of a case purchased march 2017.. being likely the last check-in here. 3.5 years on, the taste is subdued, mellow; lightly sweet, still coffee, big bourbon. A fitting end to this chapter 👍

Vencida 1 ano, mas ainda espetacular. Densa e encorpada pra segurar o ABV. Café e chocolate dominam tudo, com um fundo de coco queimado e açúcar queimado. Aquele dulçor de breja velha combinou bastante. Só o barril deu uma sumida, talvez pelo tempo. Foda!
