Past couple times having kbs I’ve been a bit underwhelmed. This one however is drinking beautifully. Tons of bourbon coffee and chocolate. Feels sweeter and thicker than I remember.

A classic, a benchmark for barrel aged flavored impy stouts. The bourbon, chocolate, coffee are all understated and in perfect balance. Perhaps equaled, but unlikely bested. Stands up after many years.

WOB gave me this instead of the Expresso version I ordered. Kept it because it's pretty dang good.

It seems wrong to have this beer when it's in the 80s out here. But it doesn't taste wrong. Happy National Beer 🍺 btw.

2019 vintage. Way too drinkable. Ducks beat the bucks at the ‘shoe. Cats win! Wolverines taking on the Huskies.

Mooi mooi mooi. Zwaar donker bier. Koffie, chocola, Bourbon vaten. Zo zou je zelfs een Heineken nog lekker kunnen krijgen ... een beetje ... misschien.

Bittersweet like a dark fudge. So creamy you'd swear there's butter in it. Coffee note is mild.
