I forgot how incredible this beer is, having not had a lot of dark beer with the warmer weather.

Bitter chocolate and dark roasted flavors. Thick, rich texture that's almost syrupy. Very smooth and clean. Best example of a porter that I've found.

Not sure why I've never checked into this. Just a flat out good porter. Nothing over powering, just smooth

Bott 23 Sept, and 45-level hop IBU presence makes itself known—love it. Velvety mouthfeel for sure. Reminding me of dried plums, maybe some cherries, covered in super dark bitter chocolate. A treat.

My usual snow shoveling beer. Only having it 10 hours post clean up because going into work got in the way. When can we start drinking before we go into work?

Dark chocolate notes at first which quickly dissipate. Very good but not as good as Alpha Klaus, the winner of the 2020 Porter Competition.
