Best scotch I've ever had. Can't believe it's taken me this long to untapp it. Founders is one of my favorite stout/high gravity beers. Unfortunately already had the French toast bastard and this beer already accentuates those flavors. 👌

This was aged about 9 months, and I think was an improvement over an already darn good beer. Malty, toasty, smokey, definitely get a single malt scotch vibe, but not overly boozy. I'll have to age them a bit from now on.

Bottled 10-18-22. On the nose, malt, bourbon and caramel. On the palate, malty, woody notes with more caramel and sugars. Light smoke to it which is nice. It's strong but smooth.

This one was calling my name from the liquor store shelf 🤣🤣. I love Scotch Ales and I've had a few Backwards Bastards in my life. Thought I would give it another try. Honestly, not as good as I remember it being. Not bad, but not great.
