June 2022 bottle. A little more bubbly than usual. Also a bit more bitter finish. Peter Sellers was such a gift.

The aroma is of single malt scotch, while the taste is strongly of Scotch, and oaky, smoked and sweet, with caramel and vanilla, roasted malts, a bit of spice and dried fruit. Together with a creamy head that tastes of Baileys - a wonderful combination.

Do I dare say a perfect iteration of a scotch ale. Malty and rich, oaky with bourbon notes. Just enough bitterness to balance everything. Very well done. Had it with some pork shoulder i just finished smoking for 10 hours. Perfect compliment.

A little aged - not as good as I remember - sweet, boozy, a bit of peat, molasses, bourbon - a touch vinous/port wine at backend. Need to try fresh bottle.

What an event. Smooth and frothy, coffee roast, toffee, not overly carbonated, but had the tingle of booze! It's a sipper!

Strong, sweet, boozy, light mouthfeel. Was expecting more smoke but this is very nicely balanced. Really enjoying this.
