Oak barrel, pumpkin and licorice like spice. Heavy anise on the tongue. Very sweet from the maple. Heat going on the aftertaste (Spiced).

Pumpkin and barrel on nose. Palate has a lot of anise star flavor but sweet from the maple syrup, pumpkin spice meld with a boozy barrel to finish in a nice warmmanner. Reminds me of the odd side sweet potato soufflé beer.

Very complex, a sweet bourbon-maple taste on front, followed by a subtle spicy flavor. An excellent early beginning of the pumpkin season.

A little too sweet but otherwise a bbl pumpkin ale that beats all others. Very well balanced

This is very unique. I am not a huge pumpkin spice person but it's tasty, and if I was I think I'd really love this.

Barley wine of pumpkins and sweet potato. Rich and heavy

First sip seemed a bit boozy, but that quickly faded away. Pretty easy drinking for 13%, nice flavors, hint of maple the usual pumpkin spices, but lacking the actual pumpkin flavor.

Shoukd have known this would not be good, due to being a very heavy ale. This should be a stout or porter style.
