Bottled 10/09/19! Rich, dark chocolate with some sweet maple syrup. Fairly malty. A little sticky. Creamy, smooth. Well masked booziness. Bourbon, coffee finish. Damn good.

Held onto this one for almost a year. Have a hookup on a new pack tho. The best!

Bourbon and maple are big in this beer. Some coffee and its very sweet and punchy.

I love Founders Stouts! “Everyone” raves about CBS. It is a great Stout, I’m just no sure it is significantly better than Founders KBS. My palette must not be as refined as others!

Rich chocolate flavor without too much sweet and balanced bourbon. Easy to see why it is an OG

Even better the second time. Sweet malt, coffee, maple syrup sweetness, it's lovely.

Stout off! CBS bottled 2019 versus Surly 13 canned 2020. What they say about maple wearing off seems to be true: not as much maple flavor as I remember. Still really good though!
