Sharp cranberry flavor with a bitter aftertaste. Not unpleasant, but not sweet. Refreshingly different.

Too tart at ale temp…too boozy at room temp. Not a fan.

I should have stirred the bottle, some sediment left behind. A bit sweet. Good with turkey dinner.

Neat idea - very Christmasy w/o spice & stuff. Thanks, Hayner!

Cloudy amber appearance. Cranberry, bitter/tart forward with notes of sweet spices. The finish sums up the forward with a fantastic boozy cranberry flavor that washes around your mouth leaving you wanting more.

First sip was not good and I almost put it down. But being the dedicated beer drinker I am, I took a few more sips and actually enjoyed it. Doesn’t really taste like a beer, kinda like a cocktail in a bottle.

Incredibly loaded with cherries and cranberry, the orange peel and sweetness from bourbon makes this go together beautifully. Smooth. Easy on the nose. Christmas box 23/25.

The fruit side is quite tart, but well balanced by the bourbon barrel sweetness. Very tasty and strong to boot.

This is interesting. On first sip it tastes like straight cranberry juice. Then some orange and cherry join the party, but cranberry is the dominant flavor. Not sure I’d say I like it enough to seek it out, but is definitely interesting.

Thought I would like this better than I do. Nice start with the cranberry, but didn’t like the finish. Not enough bourbon flavor for me.

Dark beer with a dominant cranberry flavor followed by a hint of cherries and orange zest, finishing with a mild tartness.

Sort of a cranberry barleywine with citrusy finish. Pretty decent.

Now sure about the cranberry and bourbon. Almost medicinal maybe?
