I hoped it would be good, but it's trying too hard to be a cocktail

This beer has an excellent flavor. Bit tart, with nice bourbon notes and tart cranberry. Need to buy this again.

Very cran-berry. The barrel brings a depth that I’m appreciating.

It might technically be a fruit beer, but this barrel aged brew is quite different. Smoother, boozier, but still sweet and tart from cranberries, cherries, and orange. I really dig this one as I am finding I feel about most beer that comes out of Founders

There’s this perfect cranberry apple thing going on the nose with a nice bourbon background. the flavor plays perfect on that cranberry and apple tones with such a nice backbone of bready Bourbon notes. Unique and lovely.

Good, but too heavy of a tannin effect from the aging for my taste.

Nose of cranberry or cherry. Complex flavors of cranberry and tart fruit at the beginning a little vanilla in the middle and orange peel in the aftertaste. I like this as a winter warmer. It’s not a sour beer.

This was a perfectly balanced twist on an old fashioned. Tart cranberry and Cherry with a touch of orange peel. Strong but not boozy. The 11% is dangerous wonderful winter old fashioned type beer

This one screams Thanksgiving. I loved it. It tastes a fruit beer. There's a subtle tartness. Cranberry forward, cherry in the middle, and orange on the backend. I don't taste the bourbon, but it's very warming. Everything was balanced. Sweet, too. #LCI
