A great one for sure. Seems not quite as mind blowing as last time but still great. Better than 4.25, but not quite 4.5.

I feel like I say this a lot with founders these days…it’s still good but not what I remember. Maybe it’s me? At least they made it very limited again. That’s a start.

5th one. Remains a fantastic bourbon BA imperial stout brewed with chocolate, coffee & maple syrup. Creamy, well-balanced with notes of vanilla, bourbon, oak, coffee, maple & chocolate!

Makes KBS seem plain by comparison. An absolutely astounding maple stout. Have it with breakfast.

Was apprehensive bc barrel aged isn't always great for me but this was nice and smooth. Not too much maple sweetness either. Good balance.

Haven’t seen this in years - guess they haven’t been brewing this? Maple syrup sweetness, pretty thin. Quite good, but lacks some body and intensity compared to say BCBS

Roasty coffee, chocolate, sweetness with barrel aged flavor all present. Interesting to read that it's aged in bourbon barrels WITH maple syrup, and not in maple syrup barrels. Still delicious. Thicker mouthfeel.
