Great start to Mitten Fest 2024. Glad Founders brought this back. This vintage seems more coffee forward than the maple forward ones I remember. Still awesome.

This CBS is way better than KBS. Definitely has rich flavor of roasty chocolate, and sweet boozy caramel. Definitely a slow sipping beer for sure. Sit back and enjoy. Cheers!!!

Opaque dark-brown with frothy tan head & lacing. Smoked-bacon nose & taste; add maple-syrup flavor. There’re chocolate & coffee, as well. Roasty malts & lovely bourbon-barrel notes complete a rich mouthfeel. Welcome back, old friend !

Som väntat, hade läst att kaffet tar över men håller inte alls med. Mkt. Mkt lönnsirap. I sötaste laget om jag ska leta fel men denna var riktigt bra.

Doftar som man minns den. Smörkola, bourbon, kaffe och lönnsirap. Skönt rostat bett som kommer från kaffe, kakao och ek. Sedan kommer en sötma som härleder till lönnsirap. Känns old-school men ändå rätt modern. Fortfarande toppen! 4.3

Rated this 4/5 in 2019. Tbh might be a bit better now? Always thought it was a bit basic BA but feel the BA and chocolate notes are more pronounced now. Dunno, will keep it at 4/5 for now.
