We are celebrating having decorated the Christmas tree with this nice Canadian Breakfast Stout, though it’s almost supper time. This beer is deep with coffee and chocolate flavors. Mocha in a beer!

LCI. 3.9 burnt chocolate. Kind of a hot mess compared to what it once was. 😒

Tasty but still in its melding stage, needs time. Slight trace of Bourbon. 🔊 Barrington Levy: Gimmie the Weed * Gimmie our weed back RCMP 🍁🚨

After a 4 year hiatus. I think the prior years had more maple. This is sweet and coffee, but don't detect the maple like years past. Barrel is a little lighter too. I think 2019 was my favorite year followed by 2017.

Love the coffee essence to this, I feel I would get more maple from it if less boozy. Really enjoyed this!

Try to get this one every year. Drink it fresh and then age another or two. Hint of bourbon. I find it after aging the flavors are more pronounced IMO

Damn good beer as always. Deep rich layered flavors. Sweet booze chocolate vanilla.

I feel like I say this a lot with founders these days…it’s still good but not what I remember. Maybe it’s me? At least they made it very limited again. That’s a start.

Great BBA stout, glad that Founders got convinced to bring it back.

Feel like this version is more coffee forward and the maple isn’t as prominent as the previous years

Little coffee, little chocolate, not much syrup or barrel. Still a solid brew even in todays market.

it’s like a boozy mocha latte, really trippy, but you still get that imperial stout bitterness in the aftertaste that lets you know it’s still a beer

Dark chocolate on the nose. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate followed by very faint maple and barrel. Miss the previous versions. Happy Holidays!
