This is good. Not as much heat as I was maybe expecting until it warmed up. Very smooth. Would definitely grab again if I came across it

1) It’s 12% ABV. 2) Predominantly chocolatey, or notes of cocoa, to start with. As it breathes, or maybe just the more I imbibe, the heat starts to come in, but it’s mild - enough to make things interesting & keep the sweetness at bay. 3) It’s 12% ABV.

First is the spice, then comes the chocolate, the comes the darkness.

SWEET. Boozy, burns a little going down - not sure if that’s the high ABV or the spice. Unmistakable chocolate.

Tastes like a KBS which is good. Not very spicy which is bad.

Not at all spicy. Rather disappointing in that regard although the beer was good.

Tried this a Wild West Beer Feast yesterday, wasn't my jam. Don't like the pepper in most beers.

Some slight spiciness. Has some sweet subtle chocolate flavor.

I’m not usually a stout girl but I couldn’t resist spicy + chocolate

I continue to find more of the Founders KBS flavors, and wait to see if any of them will dethrone my Hazelnut…. This one definitely isn’t close…. But that’s not to say it’s bad…. It’s VERY good, but it’s no different than the original KBS. No Spiciness.

Notes of chocolate, coffee, a hint of peppery spice, and lovely booziness!
