This was poured blind and I got coffee and bourbon. Did not pick up the spice at all. Silky smooth on the palate. Really good.

Milk chocolate, caramel, light coffee, & chili peppers on the nose. The taste brings chocolate brownies up front. Some light, pleasant chili heat with some milk caramel & Bourbon come mid pallet. A light coffee note in the finish lingers a bit. Nice beer.

I am not a fan of beers with pepper. That being said, this is pretty great. The pepper is perfectly balanced with the chocolate and overall KBS base. Truthfully, I didn’t expect to like this but I’m really impressed.

So often the chili is too much in variations like this, but I’d say this is well balanced. Really nice on a cold winter afternoon

Very mild spicy finish that just barely lingers. Not sure how anyone could get no spiciness at all on this. Great chocolate flavor and excellent beer as always.
