Solid BBA Stout! Lots of bitter dark chocolate, mild coffeeish roast, chili pepper, the finish is smooth and sweet with zero bourbon flavor. Thanks Greg S.

Nice touch of heat on the back but lacking the chocolate, coffee, and barrel I expect from a KBS.

Just a 4. This stout is definitely boozy, but it’s not that different from the usual KBS flavor profile. Honestly had far better (and spicier) spicy stouts from other brewers. It’s good, but nothing to write home about.

Fuck you, Beer Czar. This would have been a tasty beer if I hadn't been exposed to the fantastic delights of Angry Chair and other opulent imperial stouts that you have shared with me. You've taken the good and made it mediocre.

Pretty flat mouthfeel, big chocolate and slight spice, was hoping for more chili flavor, but it’s subtle.

Nice chocolate stout, didn’t really get heat but there’s “something” in the taste I can’t identify but it’s not heat.

This is a tasty stout. Semi-thick and very chocolaty. And of course an 11% banger. 😎. Not overly spicy or boozy.
