Sweet, oaky nose. Taste is bitter dark chocolate and spice is subtle but lingers for a long peppery finish

Last night. Bottled 12/27/2023. Very woody, very dry. Tons of chocolate. Becomes earthy. Sweetened cinnamon. Mild chili heat, but it's mostly on the tongue early.

Remember when you really looked forward to a KBS release? I think they've thrown in the towel. It's good, but like most variants (and even the main version these days), it's underwhelming.

A perfect brew for this frigid night. Starts off a nice boozy dark chocolate stout with hints of maple and vanilla. Then finishes with a nice dry pepper spice. Nothing too spicy but you know it’s there.

This is really well done. All the flavors chili, chocolate and coffee are well balanced.
