Nice dark chocolate aroma. Great BA qualities. Dark roasted coffee with a touch of chili pepper.

No spice. The chocolate covers up some of the horrible coffee Founders used.

Not my fave kbs. Still not too bad. Didn't really get chocolate.

Pitch black pour with thick light brown head, excellent retention and lacing. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, molasses, oak, and a hint of smoke. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, molasses, and caramel, hints of chill peppers, vanilla, bourbon, and oak.

Wow. Chocolate for sure. Spice isn’t that present. Taste wonderful.

Not spicy but good pepper flavor. Minimal barrel aged flavor, well balanced. Nice chocolate flavor and dangerously smooth for the ABV. Fantastic.

Better than expected. Not really spicy, but there is a slight tingle.

Delicious, smooth, balanced. Not a lot of spice per se, I think there's just enough to temper the flavors.

Michigan 12% ABV barrel aged Imperial Stout that was brewed with coffee, chocolate, chocolate syrup, and dried chilies. It’s somewhat thick and chewy with malt, bourbon, dark chocolate, a ton of roasted coffee, and a more smoky than spicy chili finish.

Honestly I truly love Founders stouts and would love to visit their brewery someday! I was a little unsure how I'd feel about this one so went with the single bottle instead of the 4 pack. I should've known better. Haha. I really enjoyed this!
