Curmudgeon Old Ale by Founders. Oak aged ale brewed with molasses. Smooth, sweet, and boozy. Really good.

‘14 bottle. Aged wonderfully. Smooth. Full, drinkable malt. Oak tones throughout. Lovely, yet get off my lawn.

Such a good beer. Founders needs to bring this one back. Held on well. A little more molasses sweetness with age?

A strong aroma of caramel malt with hints of vanilla and oak greet the nose. The pour is a deep brown with reddish hues. There is no head. The flavor starts off with a caramel sweetness that grows with the flavors of bourbon, oak, and vanilla.
